Clinical Director

Leatha Anatole is our Clinical Director. She is a resident of Lafayette, LA, home to her alumni, University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She graduated with honors in 2012 with a bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in biology. She also graduated with honors with a Master’s in Counselor Education in 2015, becoming a fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in 2018. She has a well-rounded background that includes working in several different types of settings and with many different populations, that include but are not limited to private practice, psychiatric facility, an in-home based practice, and Substance Abuse. She believes that “returning to substance abuse feels like coming home.” She is passionate about client advocacy and being someone’s voice until they find their own. As well as challenging the negative connotation of addiction within society, which includes raising the understanding of the disease concept of addiction and breaking through the stigma of being an “addict,” to help others remember that humanity and compassion are what’s needed for all of us. Leatha balances out her work home life balance by spending time with her children, family, and friends. She is also an avid fisher and enjoys being in nature.
